SALVATION: Are You Saved?

Or are you sitting on the fence?

It is our faith in the Lord and his wonder-working power that set us apart every day. Knowing Jesus is key to our salvation and eternal life. Our walk with Christ begins with the “Prayer of Salvation” that forms the foundation for the new relationship and a new direction in our lives.  When we sincerely invite Jesus into our lives, new life begins; we are transformed into new creatures in Christ.

If you are not “Saved” and you want to be “Born Again” all that you need to do is pray the “Prayer of Salvation” below. We you are finished, you will be saved! The next step is to become part of a church family where you can grow in your love and knowledge of Christ. Be sure to join our Bible Study and/or find one in your area – let the blessings of the Lord fall fresh on you!

The

Prayer of Salvation

Heavenly Father, I come to you today in the name of Jesus admitting that I am a sinner and have fallen short of your glory. I am truly sorry for the sins that I have committed by thought, word and deed, asking today for your forgiveness.  I believed that Jesus died on the cross as payment for my sins and that through Him I have been saved. I believe that Jesus is the son of God, that he was crucified, dead and buried; that he rose from the dead and reigns in heaven. I invite Jesus into my heart and ask that you take control of my life; I give it to you freely. Help me to live every day from this day forward in a manner that is pleasing to you. I thank you for your grace; I thank you for your mercy; I thank you for eternal life and most of all I thank you for your love. In the wonderful name of Jesus I pray.  Amen!

THE APOSTLES CREED

Our Statement of Faith

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried. The third day he arose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence, he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Church Universal, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sin, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil; for Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
