The DesertShepherd

Welcome

Our Mission

Bible Study

Welcome, and thank you for visiting The DesertShepherd online. We hope that our website highlights the wide variety of worship, fellowship and service opportunities available. Please feel free to read more about our ministry on this site. We extend an INVITATION to YOU and those you love and care for to celebrate Christ with us. We especially want to invite you to learn more about the life of Jesus and how His life, death and the resurrection makes it possible for us to have everlasting life. We are a blessed people living in a world full of blessings and knowing Jesus is the key that unlocks a world of possibilities!

Our Mission is to reach out and embrace people from all ethnic groups, national origins, creeds and lifestyles sharing the Gospel of Christ. With our time, talents and gifts we intend to share God's love of humankind with everyone we encounter by being living examples of Christ's Church. As living examples of our faith we pledge to grow spiritually by studying the Holy Bible, praying and attending worship services. Furthermore we will, with help from the Holy Spirit, endeavor to lead lost souls to a relationship with Christ Jesus; we will visit the sick, shut-in and imprisoned; and we will provide comfort for the needy. By these actions, we display our love for

God and dedication to humankind as living testimonies to the goodness and glory of the Lord.

Our DesertShepherd Bible Study & Prayer Meeting is held each Tuesday evening and we invite you to come and share in learning more about the Savior of our souls and Giver of eternal life. We also encourage you invite others - family, friends and coworkers - to join with you and us as we learn more about ourselves and Christ!

We begin with prayer at 6:30PM Arizona/Pacific Time (9:30PM Eastern time) and go straight into Bible Study afterwards. If you are not able to attend in person, please feel free to call in on our Conference Line. See the Bible Study page for the details.

Hear the Message Again!

“For you, Lord, have delivered me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before the Lord in the land of the living.”

Psalms 116:8-9

Lord, you are the Almighty and Everlasting God, the Creator and Sustainer of all things great and small. We know you as the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End! We praise you O Heavenly Father for you goodness, your grace and your mercy that surpasses all understanding. We thank you Lord for loving us in spite of who we are and what we have done. We know that we are not worthy, but you continue to bless us anyway. We thank you for the love of Christ that is never ending and unconditional. Father, please continue to guide through the obstacles of the world that we might stay steadfast and unmovable in our faith. Surround us with the wisdom and the courage needed to withstand the trails and temptations of this day that we might be found pleasing in your sight. Help us lead others to you that they too may come to know and love you as we do. And as we go forward following the leading of the Holy Spirit, we praise and worship you for you are our God and we are your people. These things we do and pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
